Marcus Thorpe is a rising Australian stand-up comedian known across Queensland and beyond for his laid-back style and relatable humour. Based on the Gold Coast and a regular on the southeast Queensland comedy circuit, he’s built a reputation performing at clubs, comedy galas and festivals, where he engages audiences with stories about life, love and everyday absurdities that connect with people from all walks of life.

Beyond his solo stand-up, Marcus has developed a strong presence as a comedy MC and organiser. He runs and hosts shows with the Travelling Jokers Comedy Club, a touring comedy collective that brings laughter to towns up and down the Queensland coast and beyond. With Travelling Jokers he’s both performed and headlined at Comedy Gala nights in places like Gladstone and Agnes Water, helping to curate line-ups and keep the energy high as both host and featured act.

Marcus’s work has taken him interstate as well as around Queensland, with performances documented in New South Wales and at regional comedy events such as at Hervey Bay and other venues.
